Tokyo Ghoul, Vol. 1 by Sui Ishida
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
You know how sometimes you go on a date with a cute young woman and she takes a bite out of your shoulder and when you try to run she skewers you with her “claws” and then after some steel beams fall on her you’re rescued but her kidneys are transplanted into you and you learn you’re now some kind of human-ghoul hybrid? No? Me neither. But wow is it fun to read about it. There’s action, wacky humor, violence, a clueless eighteen year old etc.
